Inspired by a member of our photography club, this week we took pictures of objects from interesting angles, creating some really lovely pictures.

Blog/Vlog has become Photography club this term and our members have taken some beautiful pictures of snow in school. Please enjoy the videos and pic collages.

The Christingle  is an event where different children from various year groups come to The Freckleton Church. Some adults from school also attended; it was lovely to see Mrs Shuttleworth and Mrs Butcher. The parents came to watch the children too. As the choir we sang songs, which were Away In A…

Here are some Christmas changes around school there are pictures from all of our classes.

Strike Lane have made some new chill rooms called the Fairy Room‍♀️, the Fish Room, and the Light Room, they are for when you get stressed and for reading in the morning.

At Strike Lane we are celebrating Black History month so we have made door displays. Each class has chosen a person of colour. Some classes have written facts about them and put up pictures of what they look like. Others have created pictures of the person and they are displayed. 

On Monday 11th November 2024 children in Strike Lane  school wore poppy badges to remember the people who died in war on the 11th day of the 11th month. Everyone did 2 minutes of silence all around school.

As the season changed and it gets colder, we took a photo walk around school to see the changes to the beautiful trees we have on our school grounds.

The leaves have fallen, covering the ground and the trees look bare, but once Spring arrives we will see them change again.
